Compact Drives

All gearbox drives in this category are especially quiet and work almost free of play. They are very attractive, space-saving alternatives to manual gear boxes. The gear reduction is chosen in a way that the optimal speed for maneuvring is ensured.

For a regular weight model in size 1/14 to 1/16 the GM32U360 (12V) or GM32U390 (7.2V) is a good choice. For heavier models, such as loaded dump trucks, the driving power may exceed 20W. In this case, we recommend stronger axles, e.g. a combination of 3/1 or 4/1 with the underfloor gear drive GM32U450. The GM32U280 and GM32U430 should be considered for smaller and lighter models.

For 1/8 models the GM42U1425 corresponds with its power and speed to the popular Dunker motor with 2/1 gear. We recommend planetary hub-reduction axles with 10/1 reduction. The GM42U325 is the alternative for 3/1 rear axles.
